Planning a trip? Prepare for your consultation
1. Request and confirm your appointment
Before booking your trip, confirm your appointment with the clinic and ask whether you should allow time for any tests or a follow-up visit.
Use our contact page or message the clinic on WhatsApp. Tell us where you are traveling from, when you will be in Cancún, and the general reason for your visit. Ask the clinic to confirm the date, time, address, and consultation fee. Let the clinic know if you need an appointment in English.
2. Bring any records you already have
Bring your relevant medical records, a list of medications and doses, and a list of allergies. If you have had a vascular Doppler ultrasound, other imaging, recent lab tests, or a previous procedure, bring the reports and original images if available. Ask the clinic which records it needs and how to share them before your appointment.
3. Arrange follow-up before you return home
Ask when your results will be reviewed, who will follow up with you, and whether you will need another in-person visit. Request a written summary and ask how to share it with your clinician at home. If a procedure is being considered, ask the team when you can travel home and whom to contact if you need care after you return.
